PICKLE JUICE BUTTERMILK RANCH

Ingredients

• ½ cup mayonnaise (use a high-quality brand like Duke’s or homemade)
• ½ cup sour cream (or substitute with Greek yogurt for a lighter touch)
• ¼ cup buttermilk (adjust for desired consistency)
• 2 tbsp dill pickle brine
• 1 tsp mustard powder
• 1 tbsp fresh parsley, finely chopped
• 1 tbsp fresh dill, finely chopped
• 1 tbsp fresh chives, finely chopped
• ¼ tsp smoked paprika
• ¼ tsp black pepper, freshly ground
• ½ tsp sea salt (adjust to taste)
• ½ tsp onion powder
• ½ tsp garlic powder
• 1/2 tsp white pepper


Instructions

1. Combine the Base:
In a medium bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, sour cream, buttermilk, and dill pickle brine until smooth.
2. Flavor the Mix:
Add the mustard, and all the spices (salt, black pepper, onion powder, garlic powder, smoked paprika, and cayenne, if using). Whisk until well incorporated.
3. Fold in the Fresh Herbs:
Gently fold in the parsley, dill, and chives. Stir until the herbs are evenly distributed.
4. Taste and Adjust:
Taste the dressing and adjust seasoning as needed. Add an extra splash of pickle brine if you want more tang.
5. Chill:
Transfer to a jar or airtight container and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to let the flavors meld. (Overnight chilling enhances the pickle flavor even more!)
6. Serve:
Use this tangy, herbaceous dressing as a dip for veggies, drizzled over salads, or as the ultimate sauce for fried chicken, burgers, or pizza.
